Healthcare technology company ixlayer has introduced a new platform called ‘ixEngage,’ designed to streamline pharma companies’ ability to connect with patients.
ixEngage seeks to offer a compliant, cloud-based infrastructure that integrates various healthcare components, including labs, providers, prescriptions, and payments, to enhance the direct-to-patient experience.
The platform aims to accelerate patients’ access to care by simplifying processes such as lab testing, which can be moved earlier in the patient journey, making it easier for patients to connect with healthcare providers. ixEngage is also looking to integrate with biopharma’s disease state awareness and media campaigns.
Built on ixlayer’s existing technology ixEngage looks to provide pharma companies with tools to improve patient engagement and connect them to necessary medical care faster. The platform features virtual patient experiences, multimodal lab testing, telehealth services, prescription fulfillment, and financial tools for patients navigating healthcare costs.
According to ixlayer CEO and Co-founder Pouria Sanae “the future of biopharma success will hinge on more proactive, data-driven collaboration with patients” which ixEngage seeks to address.
