As Inizio Evoke expands its intelligence tools for health and pharma partners, the agency has tapped a new leader to build out its media offerings to match.
Jake Vander Linden has been named president of media, the company announced this week, putting him in charge of Inizio Evoke’s media strategy, planning, activation, analytics and adtech capabilities.
In his new role, he’ll be tasked with scaling up the agency’s media work, with the support of its slate of AI-powered tools and platforms offering behavioral intelligence, advanced analytics and real-time performance signals.
Vander Linden joins Inizio Evoke with more than two decades of experience in media and marketing spanning the healthcare and consumer industries. That includes several years on the media team at Real Chemistry and, most recently, a stint first as EVP of media and then EVP of innovation and advanced activation at Moon Rabbit.
“I joined Inizio Evoke because I saw an opportunity to build something different in healthcare media—bringing together deep healthcare expertise, behavioral intelligence, technology and great service teams to help clients better understand not just who to reach, but what they need next,” he wrote in a LinkedIn post Tuesday.
His appointment was announced alongside two other executive hires at Inizio Evoke: The agency has also named Brian Gundich as EVP of AI enablement and Barbara Patchefsky as global client lead.
As technological advances make the race for media dominance that much tighter, health and pharma clients are increasingly looking for more integrated media, technology and intelligence capabilities from their agency partners to deliver measurable business outcomes.
In response, agencies are building their pharma media teams and seeking out leaders with an eye toward prioritizing innovation and implementing data, AI and advanced analytics at scale as a core piece of the media offering.
