DeepIntent is betting on agentic AI to help pharma marketers streamline their workflows as they pursue highly specialized audiences in ever more crowded markets.

The company unveiled its new Cora platform Thursday, touting it as potentially transformative for the way pharma brands and their agency partners strategize, collaborate on and activate omnichannel campaigns.

The platform is meant to bring previously fragmented processes, tools and datasets into one place, with the work supported throughout by AI agents that can be directed using conversational, natural language.

Within Cora, which draws on the Helix cloud infrastructure that DeepIntent launched earlier this year, agents can dig into data, define audiences and quickly begin activating campaigns across a wide range of channels, operating in live workspaces where marketers and agencies can collaborate with each other and the AI tools. Throughout a campaign, the platform offers up actionable insights on competitors, clinical developments, the market and more to help continuously optimize outreach.

In early beta testing, per DeepIntent, nearly all of the 275 participants reported that using the platform had made their marketing research, planning and activation processes “drastically faster.”

“For over a decade, DeepIntent has built a platform with a singular focus on healthcare. With Cora, we are expanding beyond programmatic advertising and unlocking the value of agentic AI for strategy, planning, and activation across channels,” Chris Paquette, DeepIntent’s founder and CEO, said in this week’s announcement

“Just as drug development becomes more precise, Cora will break down siloes, helping our clients understand markets, collaborate more efficiently, and ultimately engage with patients and providers with unprecedented speed and confidence,” Paquette continued. “In doing so, Cora will help pharma brands and their agencies bring more treatments to market successfully, while improving the quality of life for the patients they serve.”

The platform is now available in an open beta phase for all DeepIntent clients.

solli’s Final Thoughts

Agentic AI is rapidly changing the way that work gets done across industries, and pharma media is far from immune.

As agents become increasingly more intelligent and capable, they’ll be able to take over much of the monotony of marketing work, not only speeding up the time to campaign activation, but also freeing up humans to prioritize higher-level decision-making and optimization.

Of course, looming as always over any high-tech development is the requirement that all agents remain fenced in by data privacy and regulatory requirements, ensuring that all marketing output remains compliant and so upholds the all-important trust between brand and audience.
