After more than a decade at Publicis Health Media, with the last two years spent as chief executive, Andrea Palmer has left to take on a new role at the helm of Assembled Intelligence.
Assembled Intelligence, created from the combination of Minds + Assembly, BOLDSCIENCE, HashtagHealth and Stratevi, has developed a healthcare communications and commercialization platform that’s billed as a cohesive operating system meant to support the entire marketing lifecycle.
As CEO, Palmer will lead the company’s ongoing work to help marketers better integrate a broad range of capabilities, spanning strategy, access, science, creative, real-world evidence, media, analytics, medical communications, patient experience, omni, AI and social, per the company.
“Healthcare is at an inflection point—AI, shifting consumer expectations and the sheer pace of scientific innovation are rewriting how brands earn trust and drive outcomes,” she said in a statement. “Most partners in this industry are still organized for the way healthcare communications used to work. Assembled Intelligence was built for the way it works now.”
The CEO continued, “My focus is on bringing together science, creative, media, data analytics and market access capabilities in ways this industry hasn’t seen before, and to help our clients move first and move boldly. Connecting capabilities in a way that uniquely compounds value for customers is a truly exciting proposition.”
Palmer joined PHM in 2014 as a leader in the Chicago office. She was named the company’s chief strategy officer in 2018 and president a year later, before taking on the chief executive post in mid-2024.
Prior to her time at the health media giant, Palmer spent several years at another Publicis Groupe entity, Digitas Health, in leadership roles within the media team.
She’ll be taking over the CEO title at Assembled Intelligence from Mark Lydiatt, who had led the company since it was founded in 2024. Meanwhile, she’s reportedly been replaced at PHM by Stephen Farquhar, most recently the CEO of Publicis Health.
