The latest addition to Pulse Health’s suite of cloud-based engagement technologies is aimed at helping health and pharma companies coordinate digital advertising campaigns to better reach healthcare professionals.
The new Pulse Media offering allows marketers to activate digital banner and display ads within their broader omnichannel strategies that target specific HCPs by NPI, specialty, geography, account, audience segment or another third-party data source.
From there, the platform ties into Pulse Health’s other engagement tools to provide campaign performance tracking that breaks down HCP engagement on an individual level to show which specific creatives, placements and audience segments are delivering the highest engagement. Marketers can also use the technology to plan follow-ups with specific HCPs.
Ultimately, the new feature is meant to integrate media activation and delivery into Pulse Health’s existing engagement-focused offerings spanning customer relationship management, marketing automation, audience segmentation and real-time analytics.
“Pharmaceutical marketers shouldn’t have to stitch together multiple vendors to execute connected campaigns,” Brooke Alovis, Pulse Health’s COO, said in the launch announcement. “Our goal is to provide one platform that helps brands identify the right HCPs, engage them through the right channels, measure what matters, and continuously optimize performance.”
Pulse Health’s latest launch marks yet another example of how the pharma media industry is increasingly looking for partners that can offer a “one-stop shop” combining their media activation and measurement all in one place.
It has become less and less tenable for marketers to be switching between separate platforms to manage each prong of an omnichannel campaign, so platforms that can do it all—and do so accurately and effectively—are more necessary and sought-after than ever before.
