CineHealth Names Winners of Health-Focused Film Festival

Amid last week’s Fierce Pharma Week conference in Philadelphia, a glitzy red-carpet event celebrated the best of the best in health and wellness-focused storytelling.
Winners of the fourth annual CineHealth International Health and Wellness Film and Video Festival were announced in a ceremony at the National Constitution Center on Sept. 15, where solli served as the event’s official media partner as part of a recently announced team-up.
The festival’s winners spanned five main categories across short and feature-length films, episodic series, social media shorts and podcasts. A jury of entertainment, life sciences, healthcare and technology leaders selected the honorees from a pool of more than 500 submissions that came from dozens of countries around the world.
Also honored at the ceremony was TV host, author, actor and health activist Maria Menounos, who was this year’s recipient of the CineHealth Lifetime Achievement Award.
“It was truly an honor to celebrate the incredible storytellers, filmmakers, creators and advocates who continue to use their voices to educate, inspire and make a difference in the lives of others,” Tracey Yaw, festival director of CineHealth, said in a statement. “The people behind these stories remind us of the power of storytelling to create connection, bring hope, challenge stigma and let others know they are not alone.”
